Hello! Thanks for visiting JT Pet Photography
My story: I’m Jonathan, and JT Pet Photography is a project that grew out of my life-long love of animals. Growing up in Venezuela, my home was always a place where the outdoors came in. Birds and lizards were frequent guests in our living room, especially during the rainy season. Our home was also enlivened by several dogs, and I had a special bond with my Pekinese-terrier mix, Chiripa (his name means “little roach” in Spanish). I moved to the U.S. over 10 years ago, taking with me the one surviving picture of my beloved Chiripa. Videos and photographs were rare in my home, so I treasure this memento.
My vision: My dream is to bring pet photography to everyone. We all have busy lives, and sometimes we don’t stop to take photos and capture the love and joy our pets bring, as with Chiripa.
My goal: Nowadays, my wife and I are puppy parents to our Boston Terrier, Ruby. Ruby loves having her photo taken, and we’re lucky to have this little bundle of energy as our model. As I work with more and more pet-families, I hope my photography brings years of love, happiness, and memories to you and your best friend.
